✅Reinforced our #ShowARedCardcampaign that raises awareness of human/child trafficking in sport. The #USA Department of State Trafficking in Persons (TIP) 2020 Report notes “neither governments nor international sports federations or national sports leagues have successfully addressed the growing incidence of human trafficking of athletes”.

✅Fundraised (please donate) to support the development of our programme Freewheel by Ride For Freedom that gives bikes, accessories and cycling training to survivors of modern slavery to support their mental and physical health, independence and rehabilitation back into society.

✅Seeded a Freewheel by Ride For Freedom Hub on the East Coast of the USA as a legacy of the Tour. We have launched the first Freewheel Hub in Barking & Dagenham, London and are rolling out Hubs across the UK and internationally. Contact us to discuss the opportunities for collaboration.

About Ride For Freedom

Ride For Freedom’s SDG 8.7 aligned mission is to harness the universal appeal of cycling to raise awareness, educate and forge partnerships to end modern slavery, and to provide remedy to survivors through its operational Freewheel programme.

Ride For Freedom achieves its mission by creating and leading unique cycling challenges and events and by partnering with high impact sports clubs, companies and aligned charities.

The cycling challenges fundraise to support the development of our Freewheel programme that empowers survivors of modern slavery to cycle. The intended outcomes are that survivors will gain additional independence and mobility, and improved mental and physical health and wellbeing.

Please donate to make a difference to their lives.
